Steisha Pintado was born in the Bronx, NY and raised in rural North Carolina. She is an interdisciplinary artist working across media to explore themes of self, indoctrination, and religious trauma. She graduated with an MFA in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in May 2023. She currently lives in Greensboro, NC with her boyfriend and their two dogs.
